“No matter the range of challenges a project presents, there’s always an interesting and creative way to solve the ‘problem’. I look forward to every opportunity with excitement and focus.”
I'm a graphic illustrator based in Toronto. Engrossed in the imagery and tone of more off-beat children’s books as a child (Seuss, Shel Silverstein, Bill Watterson), I was swept up in the boom of early 90’s American comic books. These influences compelled an interest in image-making, which was explored academically at Sheridan College. The Art Fundamentals certificate program was a thrilling crash-course, which set my focus on successfully completing Sheridan’s Bachelor of Applied Arts Illustration degree program. I’ve since been illustrating and managing a range of diverse projects, delivering high quality work and maintaining solid relationships with clients and fellow creatives.
I'm comfortable in the role of leader, as part of a team, or working independently. I’m also pretty well-rounded, given the variety of strengths I’ve developed working both within and outside of the arts. I bring a comprehensive perspective to the task at hand.
